This gallery is a space for future regional and international collaborations, working with other galleries, museums, art organizations, and artists from all over the world.

The first exhibition in this Gallery is: Sheikh Zayed Empowering Women Exhibition. It is highlighting the late president of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his contribution to women.

This exhibition was opened by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research on 14th of December 2012.

Sheikh Zayed is acknowledged for his effort to empower the women of the UAE.  His wise approach in a conservative tribal society, where he encouraged the individuals and tribes to accept the participation of women in all fields of work.

This exhibition is curated by Prof. Rafia Ghubash and contains three parts:

• An artwork which display the quotes that emphasize Sheikh Zayed’s role in empowering women.
• An exhibition of the Sheikh Zayed’s photos and video in women related events and activities.
• Artwork by Jamal Abdul Rahim, in which he combined Sheikh Zayed’s Poetry with pictures to produce 12 original handmade prints.
